TheMedicalCertificate.com has a flexible refund policy that aims to address specific cases where refunds are applicable.
Refunds are provided when:
- The user is underage (<18 years) and has applied without a caretaker’s knowledge, and the doctor consultation has not taken place.
- Necessary medical history or recent medical records are unavailable and our team is informed before the doctor consultation.
- Our health team finds the complaint invalid.
- The user requests a certificate more than five times without receiving proper treatment for the condition.
- The certificate is required for insurance claims, government employment regularization, or is a medico-legal case.
- The doctor has not contacted the user.
Fees and Conditions:
- For Indian Certificates: Refundable document formats incur a fee of INR 199/-. For Form 1A, the fee is INR 250/-. Non-refundable document formats do not qualify for a refund, nor do standalone online doctor consultations.
- For International Certificates: Refundable document formats incur a fee of $5. Non-refundable document formats are not eligible for a refund.
- Non-refundable services cannot be refunded or edited once selected.
No Refunds in Cases Where:
- A non-refundable product is chosen.
- The user declines to attend the online consultation.
- The user has booked a standalone online doctor consultation.
- The user does not attend the online consultation and fails to cancel at least 60 minutes before the appointment.
- The doctor has attempted contact three times, and the user has not attended the consultation.
- The certificate has already been issued.
- The ailment claims are found to be incorrect or illegal.
- The user provides contradictory information during the consultation.
- The user cannot provide supporting documents for their ailment after the consultation.
- The user has completed the doctor consultation and later requests a cancellation.
- The user does not respond to calls or emails from support for more than seven days after placing the order.
For non-responsive cases, data will be retained for seven days, after which it will be deleted. Closed serviced cases are stored for 15 days, and no further service requests will be processed after this period.
Please note that a refund is not guaranteed if the doctor determines that issuing a medical certificate is unwarranted after the consultation. The fee covers both the facilitation of the consultation and the doctor’s time, and issuance of a certificate is solely at the doctor’s discretion and according to legal guidelines.
Refund Process
To request a refund, email us at care@themedicalcertificate.com with your case details and include the invoice. We will respond within 72 working hours (Mon-Fri, 10 am to 6 pm). Approved refunds will be processed in the original payment method within 8-10 working days, subject to payment gateway policies.
